Sockets and drive sizes

Choose the drive size by the job: 1/4in for small fasteners and electronics, 3/8in for general automotive and workshop use, 1/2in for wheel nuts and heavier fasteners, and 3/4in or 1in for heavy machinery. 6-point sockets grip the flats of a nut and are less likely to round it off; 12-point sockets are easier to fit in tight spaces.

Insulated (VDE) tools for electrical work

VDE insulated pliers, screwdrivers and sockets are rated for live working up to 1000V AC and tested to IEC 60900. Use them for panel, switchboard and wiring work, and replace any tool whose insulation is cut or cracked. See SATA VDE insulated tools.

Non-sparking tools for hazardous areas

Non-sparking spanners, hammers and pliers made from aluminium bronze are used where flammable gas, vapour or dust may be present, such as oil and gas, chemical and fuel handling sites. See Kennedy non-sparking tools.

Torque wrenches

Use a torque wrench wherever a fastener has a specified tightening torque, such as wheel nuts, engine and flange bolts. Pick a wrench whose range puts your target torque in the middle of the scale, and have it recalibrated regularly. See torque wrenches.

Do your hand tools come with a warranty?

Many do. Kennedy, SATA, Stanley and Jonnesway hand tools carry a limited lifetime warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, while blades, bits and other consumables are not covered. The exact warranty for each item is shown on its product page.

How long does delivery take?

We deliver across Malaysia, including Sabah and Sarawak. Peninsular Malaysia usually takes 1–3 business days and Sabah and Sarawak 2–5 business days after dispatch. Delivery is free for orders over RM500 with a total weight under 22kg. Same-day delivery by Lalamove or Grab is available within the Klang Valley for orders confirmed before 4:00pm; please contact us first to confirm stock.
