The Fluke 179 is the top model of the Fluke 170 Series, the industry-standard True-RMS digital multimeters for troubleshooting electrical and electronic systems. It measures up to 1000V AC/DC and 10A, adds built-in temperature measurement with the included 80BK thermocouple probe, and is rated CAT III 1000V and CAT IV 600V, with a backlit 6,000-count display and analog bar graph.
