Faulty units are repaired or replaced free of charge, at Makita's option, at an authorised Makita service centre. Please keep your sales or tax invoice showing the purchase date and tool serial number as proof of purchase.

Not covered	Normal wear and tear parts such as carbon brushes, brush holders and caps, switches, gears, grinding and cutting wheels, bits and saw blades; damage from improper accessories or non-genuine replacement parts; damage from negligence, accident, disaster, improper storage or maintenance, abuse, misuse or overloading the tool beyond its capacity; damage from abnormal voltage, use with a generator, or use not in accordance with the operating manual.
Warranty void if	The tool has been disassembled, tampered with, altered or repaired in any way that affects its performance; the serial number on the tool, or the seal on the battery or charger, has been defaced or removed; the receipt or invoice showing the date of purchase cannot be shown.

Bring the product with your sales or tax invoice (showing the tool serial number) to Techno Tools or a Makita Authorised Service Centre. The service centre decides whether to repair or replace it free of charge.
