The SATA 1/2" Dr. 6PT Deep Socket series (13401–13417) is a hand-tool socket range built for reaching recessed bolts, nuts and long threaded studs. Each socket has a 1/2" square drive, a 6-point hex opening for a secure grip on fasteners, and a 77mm overall length. Choose from 17 metric sizes, from 10mm to 32mm. It suits automotive repair, machinery maintenance, workshop assembly and general mechanical work.

What Type of Tool Is This?

This is a 1/2" drive metric deep socket, a hand tool used with a 1/2" drive ratchet, breaker bar, speed handle or T-handle to tighten and loosen hex bolts and nuts. The extra length gives the reach that standard sockets lack.
