VALUE VCR1 Valve Core Removal Tool 1/4" & 5/16" SAE
The VALUE VCR1 is a valve core removal tool for HVAC and refrigeration technicians. It removes and installs Schrader valve cores without losing the system charge, and fits both 1/4" and 5/16" SAE service ports, including R410A systems.

1. What is the VALUE VCR1 used for?
It is used to remove, replace or reinstall Schrader valve cores on AC and refrigeration service ports, with the system still under pressure.

3. Why remove the valve core before evacuation?
The core restricts flow. Taking it out lets the vacuum pump pull down faster and gives more accurate vacuum readings.
