Vitrified bond for precision grinding. Unaffected by water, acid and oils. All 1,1/4’’ bore, supplied with 1’’, 7/8’’, 3/4’’, 5/8’’ & 1/2’’ bore nylon bushes. Tough general-purpose aluminium oxide which is hard wearing. Used for surface and off hand grinding. Refined aluminium oxide with a faster grinding operation. Suitable for high speed steels, precision grinding and general surface grinding. Silicon carbide, used on low tensile strength materials, non ferrous metals and carbide tool grinding. All York grinding wheels are supplied in a unique storage box, which helps prevent chipping and other accidental damage. Spare cases available on request.
