The HaoSheng AS189A provides clean, pulse-free air delivery thanks to its integrated 3.0-liter air reservoir. By storing pressurized air in the tank, the motor turns off automatically when full and only restarts when pressure drops, preventing motor overheating and maintaining steady airflow without pulsing.
Its protective outer shroud/casing sets the "A" series apart by offering enhanced protection for the gauge and motor components. Running at an ultra-quiet ~47–53 dB, it is suitable for indoor residential use.
Features
- Pulsation-Free Operation: The 3.0L air tank acts as a buffer, eliminating the air pulsing common in tankless compressors.
- Dual-Mode Auto Stop / Start System:
- Mode 1 (Low-Pressure Auto Switch): Designed for standard airbrushing. Turns on at 3 bar (43 PSI) and auto-stops at 4 bar (57 PSI).
- Mode 2 (High-Pressure Continuous Switch): Pushes up to max pressure (~6 bar / 86 PSI) for high-demand or larger spray tools.
- Oil-Free Piston Design: Requires no lubrication, ensuring zero air contamination and zero oil-spray on your work.
- Integrated Air Treatment Unit: Equipped with an adjustable pressure regulator, analogue pressure gauge, and water separator moisture filter to trap condensation.
- Thermal & Overheat Protection: Built-in automatic thermal switch cuts power if the engine reaches safe temperature limits.
- Enclosed Protective Cover: Features a metal shield/case housing that protects the motor and gauges from accidental bumps.
