Product Overview

The SATA 1/4" Dr. 6-Point VDE Insulated Hexagon Bit Socket combines a durable S2-steel hex bit with an insulated socket body, giving electricians and technicians a safe, reliable way to drive hex-socket (Allen-style) fasteners on or near live circuits. Each socket is individually tested to 10,000 volts and certified to the IEC/EN 60900 international standard for live working up to 1000V AC / 1500V DC. The hexagonal bit is made from S2 tool steel for long-lasting strength against rounding and wear, and the socket body features an elegant chrome-plated finish that resists rust and corrosion. Designed for use with 1/4" insulated ratchets and drive tools, this bit socket is available in a range of sizes — shown here in 4mm and 8mm.

Lifetime Warranty. Both the SATA11524 and SATA11528 are covered by SATA's lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used as intended. The warranty does not cover damage from misuse, exceeding the rated voltage, damaged or compromised insulation, modification, or normal wear and tear.
